Hi All,

Thanks for continuing to support us by purchasing Football Manager 2008, it means a great deal to everybody connected to making the game. Smile

We are busy working on the 8.0.1 Patch and while we do not have a specific release date in mind at this time, we hope to have it ready for public download within a couple of weeks.

The 8.0.1 Patch will resolve many of the issues you've reported to us and we'd like to thank all of you who have contributed in the Bugs Forums.

As soon as we have a specific date set in stone, we will keep you informed by posting again as well as providing a list of changes too.

Segundo a SI, vai lançar o patch dentro de algumas semanas.

Ele pediu o esforço para informar os bugs no fórum da SI para diminuir ainda mais os bugs do jogo. Se não tem uma conta lá, pode informar os bugs aqui mesmo que o pessoal da Pesquisa Oficial vai informá-los lá.

Quando patch é lançado, seja o changelog ou download, eu coloco antes o [Download] ou [informações]

Será lançada em poucos dias uma versão "beta" do patch. Segue o comunicado oficial do Miles Jacobson no fórum oficial da SI:

Following on from Neil's post yesterday about how we're planning to release the patch in the next couple of weeks, and because lots of people are having problems with the workaround for the closing down bug, and a couple of other long term bugs coming to our attention which we deem serious, we have decided to release a beta version of the patch in the next couple of days, which should solve these problems (and others).

This will also give people the chance to give feedback on said patch before we release it "officially" in a couple of weeks time.

As soon as this beta version of the patch is ready, we will unleash it.

For those who don't know what a "beta" is, it's basically a test version, and the same test version that we would be testing here before releasing.

We hope this appeases some of you who are unhappy, in particular with the closing down bug, and appreciate your patience.

O patch beta é completo. Esta é, digamos, uma versão teste para ver se tudo já está ok. Se estiver, não haverá nenhuma mudança pro final. Se não estiver tudo ok, apenas estes pontos q não estão ok serão alterados para a versão final.

As per yesterdays forum post, we have decided to make a beta version of the 8.01 patch available for people to try.

For those who don't know what a "beta" is, it's a test version that we would normally use internally to test the fixes that have been made.

We have decided to release this to you due to people having issues with the workaround for the closing down bug, and a couple of other long term issues that people have discovered, as well as a few compatibility issues that a few users have experienced on their machines and the Securom copy protection that is being used on the game.

We will be releasing a final version of the patch in a couple of weeks, once we're happy with it and have gone through a full test cycle internally. The final version will also include data changes.

There will be many different versions of the "beta" patch available for the different variations of the game. As these become available, the game name will be in bold lettering.

The reason for them being available at different times is that the different versions all need different installers, which take quite a bit of time to build, and also need to be tested (the installer) before we can make them live. We appreciate your patience during this time, and they will all go live as soon as we can get them done.

Hastily written, *then edited by Matt - see me after class, Mr Jacobson* legal blurb - please note that, as this is a "beta" version of the patch, it is a test version and therefore not the final version. We haven't finished testing it yet, so use it at your own risk, but we expect it to be ok. Whilst we believe we've fixed the issues, We'd like to hear, of course, if you encounter further problems, so we can try and rectify them.

Lançaram uma versão beta do patch, mas por enquanto só está disponivel para a versão "boxed" de FM, que é a que é vendida em lojas na Inglaterra.

Football Manager 2008 Mac boxed - FM normal para MAC.

WWSM 2008 PC boxed - FM para a América do Norte.

WWSM 2008 Mac boxed - FM para a América do Norte e MAC.

WWSM 2008 Digital Download - FM para a América do Norte que é comprado e baixado (O jogo que é "não-boxed", digamos assim).

Futbol Manager 2008 Digital Download - Mesmo do de cima, mas para América do Sul.

Instalei os logos dos times aki, mas na hora de começar o jogo(aparecer aquela tela de inicio) demora uns 10 minutosIsso é por causa do patch 8.0, por isso, tirei os logs, ai fico normal..Ah, alguem pode me responder essa pergunta?Tipo, comecei um sabe com o patch 8.0Se eu instalar o patch 8.1, eu posso continuar esse meu save com os ugs e tudo corrigido?Ou terei que começar outro save no novo patch??

Deve ser o de sempre: "O patch compatível com jogos salvos mas, para total aproveitamento das melhorias, é aconselhado iniciar um novo jogo". Não sei até onde faz diferença mas..
